La liste complète des nommés aux Hong Kong Film Awards 2025, dominée par THE LAST DANCE

La 43e cérémonie des Hong Kong Film Awards a organisé hier une conférence de presse pour annoncer ses nominés. L’événement a invité quatre nouveaux représentants de l’industrie cinématographique : Angela Yuen, Yoyo Tse (meilleure nouvelle interprète de l’année dernière), Marf Yau (membre du girls group de cantopop Collar) et George Au (membre du boys band HK P1X3L). 

Comme attendu, The Last Dance domine avec 18 nominations, suivi de City of Darkness avec 14 nominations et Papa avec 11 nominations. The Last Dance avec un box-office HK historique (pour un film en langue chinoise) de 160 millions HK$ (20M$) , est favori pour le prix du meilleur film.

La compétition pour le meilleur acteur s’annonce serrée : Michael Hui (The Last Dance) est favori, suivi de Lau Ching Wan (Papa) qui pourrait lui voler la vedette. Pour la meilleure actrice, Michelle Wai (The Last Dance) a de fortes chances de remporter le prix.

L’édition de cette année a également élargi son association avec 17 organisations professionnelles et plus de 2050 votants. Dereck Yee, président de l’association, a souligné la diversité des 46 films en compétition et la vitalité de l’industrie cinématographique hongkongaise. La cérémonie aura lieu le 27 avril au Hong Kong Cultural Centre.
